Who and what

The Actually Good Projects team are hospitality experts who have held senior positions in leading F&B brands. We offer chef consultancy and F&B purchasing support.

Our services are aimed at any size of hospitality business but we focus on independent restaurants and bars that don’t have development or purchasing resource in-house.

As well as our own in-house team we also have our own consultancy network featuring some of the UK’s leading chef talent known as the Actually Good Collective. The broad range of knowledge available within this group allow us to take on almost any brand/concept development project.

 
 
  • We focus on the creation of streamlined seasonal food menus that feature fuss free tasty plates designed to be delivered easily.

    Project examples:

    Full new menu development (complete from scratch menu including all training and procurement)

    Single dish development (just need a better burger?)

    Recipe and spec writing (convert your existing menu into a document that the business owns)

    Menu inspiration reports (to highlight trends and opportunities for your current team)

    Full brand/concept creation (investor with a hospitality space that needs a market leading brand?)

  • Using a sustainable approach we can review and make changes to your F&B supply chain to reduce your costs and improve its efficiency through consolidation without diminishing quality.

    Project examples:

    Food supply/brand tenders (need 5 suppliers instead of 10?)

    Drink supply/brand tenders (need a new wine supplier or a new pouring deal for draught beer?)

    Product bench marking

  • We can work with industry investors or large scale businesses to develop F&B brands which are one offs or scale-able.

    We have the best network of high level consultant chefs (we think) in the UK as part of our collective so no matter what the initial brief we’d have the best people to deliver it.

    Project examples:

    Spare concession space in a food court and you think a mexican brunch brand with natural wines would be perfect? We can deliver that!

 

How a project works

A project could last a day, a week, a month, or consist of on-going support and advice. We cost our services for small independent businesses.
