Actually Good Chef Jobs is a platform built to support the future of progressive and independent businesses. Our main way of doing this is by introducing good chefs to good jobs in the best kitchens. Those who pay fairly, offer balance and commit to creating positive working environments.
This all happens on our Instagram page where we share those jobs in our stories and then keep them in our highlights for 2 weeks, all for FREE. All we ask is that you share the story via your venues handle to build awareness of the platform and grow the community with the hope of making all Chef jobs Actually Good!
We understand that sharing a job post onto your businesses Instagram is not suitable for everyone (Instagram aesthetics are important right?!). For those not wanting to share, we offer a PREMIUM option with an admin fee of £100 (inc VAT) where sharing is not required, so nobody, except our network, will know you are recruiting. This fee goes back into continuing to grow the network, allowing us to continue to support Indy restaurants for years to come.
An employer with a good job to share?
All you have to do is select 'Submit a job for FREE' or 'Submit a PREMIUM job' below, confirm you meet our criteria and fill in the form (and obviously pay if you selected PREMIUM…). Those criteria are:
You pay the Real Living Wage of at least £12.00 p/h outside of London or at least £13.15 p/h within London (or equivalent salary)
You offer contracted weekly hours of 48 or less
You offer a positive working environment, including a commitment to creating a diverse workforce and an ongoing focus on the mental well-being of your team
You are a true independent where your business or restaurant brand has a total workforce of less than 200 people
Once submitted, we’ll design your advert and post on our Instagram stories within the next 48 hours. The advert will be live and saved to our highlights for 2 weeks (or 3 weeks if PREMIUM).
